What this covers
Sourcedragon LLC (“Sourcedragon,” “we,” “us”) makes and operates two products: Artive, at artivegallery.com, and Texts From Bro, at textsfrombro.com. This policy explains what information we collect through those products and through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
If anything here is unclear, email hello@sourcedragon.dev and a person will answer.
What we collect
On this website
sourcedragon.dev has no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
The contact form doesn't send anything to us. It opens a draft in your own email app, and nothing reaches us unless you send that email yourself.
In Artive
- Account details: your email address, and any name or profile details you choose to add.
- Your work: the images you upload, including the untouched original of each piece, and the time we received it.
- Community activity: the moods you pick for daily prompts, your responses to weekly prompts, the feedback threads you take part in, and what you choose to show in Discover.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription and limited card details such as the card brand and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
In Texts From Bro
- Your phone number, which is how you sign up and how you sign in, using one-time codes sent by text message.
- Your messages: what you send Bro and what Bro sends you, including the reminders you set and when they're due.
- Your plan and usage, so we can apply the limits that come with it.
Collected automatically by the products
When you use Artive or Texts From Bro, we collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and diagnostic logs. We use an error-monitoring service that records crashes so we can fix them; those reports can include technical details about what was happening when the error occurred.
Both products use cookies or similar browser storage only where it's needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To run the products: storing and showing your work, delivering your reminders, keeping you signed in.
- To take payments and manage subscriptions.
- To keep the products safe: moderating uploads, preventing spam and abuse, and enforcing our Terms.
- To find and fix problems, and to improve how the products work.
- To contact you about your account, billing, security, or changes to these policies.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
How AI is used
Both products use AI models provided by Anthropic.
- In Artive, every upload is checked by an AI model for content moderation before anyone else can see it. Daily drawing prompts are generated by AI from the moods you choose.
- In Texts From Bro, the messages you send are processed by an AI model to understand what you're asking for and to write Bro's replies. Scheduled messages are written by AI when they're sent.
We send only what each task needs. We don't use your uploads, messages, or other content to train AI models, and our provider's commercial terms don't allow it to train its models on the data we send.
AI can get things wrong. If you think a moderation decision about your work was a mistake, email us and we'll look at it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the products, only as much as each one needs, and they may use it only to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What they do for us | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in, and file storage | Artive, Texts From Bro |
| Vercel | Web hosting | This website, Artive |
| Fly.io | Application hosting | Texts From Bro |
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions | Artive |
| Twilio | Sending and receiving text messages | Texts From Bro |
| Anthropic | AI moderation, prompts, and conversation | Artive, Texts From Bro |
| Sentry | Error monitoring | Artive |
| Backblaze | Off-site backups | Artive |
| Google Fonts | Serving typefaces | This website |
Your phone number stays with us. We won't share your mobile number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business — in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
What others can see
In Artive, the pieces you publish to your gallery, your responses on the weekly prompt wall, and anything that appears in Discover can be seen by other people. Originals in your vault are private: other users can't view or download them. Feedback threads are visible only to the people in them.
Texts From Bro is private. Your conversation is between you and Bro.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except anything we're required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons, or to resolve disputes. Deleted data can remain in backups until those backups expire on their normal schedule.
Artive: you can download your originals from your vault at any time while your account is open. If you're planning to cancel or close your account, download them first.
Texts From Bro: your reminders and message history are kept while your account is open, so Bro can keep track of what you've asked for.
How we protect it
- In Artive, access rules are enforced inside the database itself, so each person can reach only their own records — a mistake in one page can't expose someone else's work.
- Texts From Bro signs you in with one-time codes and server-side sessions. Any staff access to an account goes through an internal console that keeps a permanent record of every action taken.
- Both products are backed up automatically. Artive also keeps nightly backups with a separate off-site provider.
- Everything travels over encrypted HTTPS connections.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Your choices
- Get a copy: ask us for a copy of your information. Artive originals can be downloaded directly from your vault.
- Correct it: update your details in your account, or ask us to.
- Delete it: ask us to delete your account and your information.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to Texts From Bro at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Cancel billing: Artive subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal in your account.
- Email: we'll email you about your account, billing, and security while you have an account. If we ever send marketing email, every one will include a way to unsubscribe.
Depending on where you live — for example California or another US state, the EU, or the UK — you may have further rights, such as to know what we collect, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or to complain to a data protection regulator. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it. To use any of these rights, email hello@sourcedragon.dev. We'll confirm the request comes from you, and we won't treat you differently for making it.
Children
Our products aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Where it's stored
Sourcedragon is based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States and may process it in other countries. By using the products, you understand that your information will be handled there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
